Lately we have had quite a few new people coming onto our page who do not seem to know all the facts, so we thought it might be helpful to post some links to relevant information. Many do not seem to know that the German government reached an agreement with the Tanzanian government to build better roads and other infrastructure for the communities outside the park. Also, many do not seem to understand the dire impact a commercial road through the Serengeti will have in terms of both economic impacts on the country and also what scientists say will happen to the park.

GERMAN GOVERNMENT TO BUILD ROADS AND OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE FOR COMMUNITIES OUTSIDE THE PARK The German government reported that they have signed an agreement with the Tanzanian government to spend 23 Million Euros to help the communities outside the Serengeti with better local roads to nearest large towns and other needed services.
